BioTech MOA Video: TCR Engineered T-Cells in Action

Mode of Action animated 24 seconds video, optimized for web landing page, representing TCR Engineered T-Cells in Action, developed by the innovative ImmunoScape team that discovers and develops novel TCR-based therapeutics against solid tumors.

We’ve recently had the privilege to work with and help the ImmunoScape team, a biotechnology company that discovers and develops a diverse, risk-balanced portfolio of novel TCRs against solid tumors, by leveraging their Deep Immunomics and Machine Learning platforms. In combination with novel tumor targets, ImmunoScape is using a multi-pronged approach to develop highly effective and differentiated T-cell receptor based therapeutics.

They reached out to us for developing a short MOA 3D animated video providing a glimpse into their proprietary next-generation TCR cell therapy, that will spark interest among R&D companies, as well as existing and prospective investors, and be placed on their website home landing page as a background video loop.

"We wanted to convey the mode of action of our therapeutics approach in an intuitive, visual and eye-catching way, which at the same time had to be scientifically correct.” presented as“...an eye-catching center-piece on our new website”, said Andreas Wilm, Director of Computational Biology at ImmunoScape.

Based on the provided scientific brief and high-level idea, Helix team, in tight collaboration with ImmonuScape scientific experts has developed an accurate and highly compelling 3D animation of the Hero CD8 cells, with ImmunoScape engineered TCRs, successfully killing cancer cells. Considering the goal of the video, the science behind and the potential therapeutic value, the aim was to immediately grab viewers attention and in less than 25 seconds give an idea to the website visitor on the concept and trigger interest to further explore the website.

“During the process of determining a partner, we were concerned about finding someone who would be able to understand the science behind the approach and would be able to convey our message in a scientifically accurate way. At the same time we needed someone who could accommodate our unusual asks (2D visualization) and all of that in a fixed and tight timeline. For the design process, we knew in advance that it would be hard to find internal consensus alone, which would make the job of the animation studio even harder. Helix excelled at all of these points, accommodating all our needs, for example during the extremely useful iterations with direct communication with the designers.” pointed out Mr. Wilm.
